La Tarde's unique properties lie in its high structure, slightly reclined seat, and clean, contemporary design. The armchair's realization is a testament to the innovative use of materials and technology in design. With a shell in fiberglass structure covered in fabric and a sturdy oak wood base, La Tarde is both secure and aesthetically pleasing. The trailing feet boast a distinctive triangular design, and the seat is covered in velvety fabric for added comfort. The backrest and arms feature an organic and fluid design, complemented by a similar design on the ottoman with gold accents.

La Tarde's design process was underpinned by extensive research on the influence of furniture on people's daily lives and the importance of a space for relaxation. The armchair was developed with materials that promote comfort and fine, fluid lines for visual appeal. The challenge was to create a piece that was not only comfortable but also sophisticated and clean, a challenge that was successfully met with the use of fine lines, compact materials, and neutral tones.

The armchair measures 820 width x 850 depth x 950 height, and the ottoman measures 400 width x 420 depth x 420 height. The design project was a solo effort by Linda Martins.
